THE SWEETHEART WEDDING OF NENYE AND NONSO
Like I’ve always said before, I’d love to marry an Igbo man and my reasons aren’t far fetched; firstly they known how to take care of their lolo, secondly I get to eat all the plenty different kinds of vegetable soups; thirdly get to try out a new side of another ethnic group and lastly, enjoy life with my best friend and lover forever. I know as a Yoruba girl that I am, am not entitled to those marriage customs and dowry style when my hubby gets to do something significant in my family especially with my level of education. But anyways I love Igbo culture, dressing and of course, their soups.
But with Nenye and Nonso, it was an intra-ethnic marriage as they are both Igbo and they are bounded together by love. The sweethearts said their wedding vows amidst family and friends. Lovely looking Nenye was galmmed up by Adeogun Larry Make-up and rocked a princess cut neckline white ball dress with sparkling stones while her dapper groom, Nonso was a perfect gentleman in a white shirt, jacket with black trousers and bow tie. Nenye’s bridesmaids added colour to her wedding event in fuscia pink off shoulder dresses while the men squad went for the black suit look. Wedding photographer, Emagix photography was behind the lens.
