Well the veteran musician didn’t just sing that song without being inspired by what he was seeing around him. Wearing gele has always been a thing for women to do, the head gear is our ultimate accessory.
Since the 1700’s the gele has been a part of our history and so adorning the head gear is a way to connect to our past heritage.
