THESE LATEST NORTHERN BRIDES ATTIRE ARE TOO STUNNING TO MISS

Weddings are beautiful and it’s something every women who’s ripe of age looks forward to.

In diaspora wedding are more about the couples and what they want as it is “their big day” but over in Africa (yes not just Nigeria, in case you assume it was a 9ja problem) we are big on weddings, we do not believe it’s just about the couples, our traditions states that marriage is a means of joining two families together and so your getting married is for your family and your community which automatically makes it “our wedding”.

Nigerians love big weddings but it all depends on your family background and what tribe you come from. The size of a wedding all depends on the cultural practices of a particular tribe.

How do the northerners do it? Northern Nigeria is home to so many tribes the popular being the Fulani and Hausa Tribe.

Many times people get a bit confused by the Northern traditions and that’s because it’s a mix of both the Muslim rites and their culture because the northern part consist predominantly of Muslims than Christians.

While the Yoruba and Igbo weddings can be much more elaborate, a true Hausa wedding is just as much, if we didn’t know that the recent union between the president’s daughter Zahra and the Wealthy Indimi has proved that while the Hausa’s are delicate in their ways their weddings can get just as expensive as any tribe in Nigeria.

During the Fatihah which is the name for the wedding day, just like every other tribe the bride is adorned with ornaments and precious Jewelleries.

Not only that many of the brides always have their henna decorations on their hands to as a form of adornment and beauty.

Whilst every other tribe allows for exposure of flesh the Hausa bride is to cover up with long lengthy garbs and veils…
