Zambian Designer Brand ‘Mangishi Doll’ Raises Heads With Fabulous Collection
A new, young and vibrant designer brand is emerging out of Zambia and already internationally recognised from the look book published in this article. Zambain lady Kapasa is behind the Mangishi Doll fashion brand and this year they dropped an amazing SS17 collection titled, BADWA.
BADWA derived from the Nyanja language meaning ‘Born’ tells a story of the uniqueness of each piece in the collection. A vibrant blend of bold prints and striking color creating abstract yet rhythmic pieces. The collection has no rules, wear it as you feel, mix it as you please, style it as you see fit.
