Being a student is not an easy feat at all, I remember back when I was in school (I stayed outside campus) I had to grow up fast and learn a lot of stuff, there was also the fact that I made sure to attend every lecture as they used to threaten us and tell us attendance earned us 10 marks well some did and some didn’t you never know so always be safe by attending all your lectures.

While my school was one were we wore uniform it didn’t deter us from trying to spice it up at all time. The first semester was a bit bland, we’d wear over-sized skirts and annoying shirts but after a while we got to get better looking shirts plus we were allowed to wear blue jeans so that was cool. Fast forward to summer period and we were stuck, you see summer school was the time were you could pick up a lot of courses so rather than stay in school for four years you could do three but the difference between summer school and normal school time was the fact that there was NO UNIFORM.

No uniform actually meant that we had to wear our casual wear and many of us didn’t even have enough so we went on a shopping and it was wise that we did because summer school brought out all the creativity that had been hidden in us all.

While my school had uniforms many schools go without uniforms and so the hottest fashion trends always starts from school. While following trends is cool, your university or college days is the time you could explore your taste, you can determine what you like and what you don’t but while you are exploring don’t get lost.
