With a voice like a nightingale, Simi has proved herself as a female vocalist and artistic power house. Between deft songwriting, silky smooth vocals and an innate ability to tell visually compelling stories, Simi has maintained an inventive edge the industry often chokes out of many.

Her voice continues to thrill her fans, as it’s described as sultry and tiny which makes her voice easy to distinguish. Her child-like voice is adorable as it cannot be mistaken for any other singers voice, which just leaves her in a class of her own.

Born as Simisola Bolatito Ogunleye, this 29 year old songstress is a graduate of Mass communication from Covenant University. She wrote her first tune at the age of 10 and started singing at the age of 16. Due to her love for arts, she started singing and dancing in her teens as a member of the teenage church choir.
The Ondo state indigene is the only girl in the midst of four boys and the last child of four children; as a result of being the only girl in the midst of four boys, Simi used to be a tomboy while she was growing up. She was brought up by a single mum because her parents were separated when she was only 9.
Apart from singing and song writing, Simi is also a sound engineer. She was credited to have mix and mastered some notable albums. Her music style is basically hinged in the rhythm and blues, soul and hip-hop genre of music.
