Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week 2016 Joburg: Selfi

Designer Celeste Lee Arendse studied fashion design at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology and worked for another fashion line before starting Selfi which has nothing to do with the word ‘selfie’. She showcased her new collection at Mercedes Benz fashion week and the collection is just amazing.

The use of color, the pattern choices for a unisex line is so creative and exciting. While talking to Afrika Fashion League Selfi designer describes her brand as ‘Approachable, playful, clean, bespoke and ready to wear’.

This collection is truly approachable and the outfits had a male and female version with some androgynous pieces. The collection consisted of chiffon, denim and wool fabric as well as lots of prints.
