Lui is a contemporary womenswear brand, based in the heart of Enugu state. Lui was birthed Feb 1st 2015 and has continued to grow as a brand both in creativity and atheistic.

About the Collection

The journey of a thousand miles they say, begins with one step. It doesn’t matter how you get there, wether you race through it or crawl, it all starts with one step.

The road to recovery from what life throws at you is an enlightening one, each day comes a new experience and a hurdle to cross, and these experiences begin mould us into shapes and forms of the people we become tomorrow.

Each piece shows strengths through the cuts, lines and structures to depict how life twist, cuts and moulds us into the beautiful pieces that we become.

The creative director Nkem Lucy Aka, depicts her own personal interpretation of strength through each piece designed and created from conception to reality.
The collection goes from structured to soft feminine looks and silhouettes, 3D florals handcrafted, super lush fabric and soft pastel colour story all coming together to show our own definition of Resilience.
