23 Year Old Gabonese Photographer Explores The Color Black In Awesome Photos

23 year old Yannis Davy Guibinga is a self-taught photographer and visual artist originally from Libreville, Gabon but based in Montréal, Canada. He is all about exploring the diversity of cultures and identities on the African continent and its diaspora.

In “The Darkest Color,” Guibinga goes in a decidedly darker direction to the explore the loaded history and connotation of the color black. The series stars Tania Fines & Madjou Diallo and features body painting by Jean Guy Leclerc.
