#NYFW: Gold Sequins, Metallics And Pleats Were The Order Of The Day At Ralph Lauren

For his latest show, Ralph Lauren turned his historic flagship store into a charming cafe, where editors and influencers enjoyed brunch whilst taking in the house’s Spring 2019 womenswear collection.

Combining a luxe Paris-style breakfast with a soft and elegant runway, the show was littered with supermodels, including Bella Hadid in a breathtaking gold pleated dress and more famous faces all dressed in clean white tailoring with striking gold accessories. It was sleek, classic and very Ralph Lauren.

Other eye-catching pieces was a black v-neck sweater covered in sequins and gold detailing, an athletic streetwear-esque gold jacket paired with black jogger-style trousers and a long black sequined polo shirt-dress. The show concluded with a decadent floor-length leathery black gown under a high-neck metallic gold cape.
