Louis Vuitton Closes Paris Fashion Week With FW19 Collection That Took Us Back In Time
Paris Fashion Week has come to an end, with Louis Vuitton closing off the eight-day long week of shows and presentations. Creative director, Nicolas Ghesquière settled for inspiration coming from the age of social media, expression, subcultures and ’80s references.
With an eye for the unconventional, Ghesquière experimented with silhouettes, shapes and textures to create a mosaic of colors that was the FW19 range. A key item from the range was the sleek leather hats models were wearing, which were shown in both black and black-and-white iterations, all in a check pattern which was carried through the full collection.
Pops of pink, blue, yellow and green stood out in Ghesquière’s latest collection, proving that he’s the man of the hour with his imaginative, yet luxurious creations.
