YEMI ALADE’S HOUSE OF TANGERINE (H.O.T) DEBUTS ON THE AFWN RUNWAY 2016

Our instagram pages are flooded with video’s from the just concluded African fashion week nigeria 2016. The show was amazing literally and I did well to congratulate the founder Ronke Ademiluyi. What makes the African fashion week Nigeria/London thick is the fact that unlike all other fashion shows put together in nigeria, the African fashion week showcases the talented newbies in the industry.

One of such newbies is Yemi Alade, Mama Africa might be a show girl but when it comes to the world of fashion and runway style this show girl is a new born. As the face of the AFWN 2016, Yemi Alade not only gave an outstanding and energetic performance, she also gave us one of the best shows (who can forget the smoke in the whole hall) as she debuted her fashion line House of Tangerine (H.O.T) which was in collaboration with Iconic Invanity’s Diffusion line D.N.A (her favorite fashion brand to go),

Her collection didn’t come as a surprise, it was bright vibrant and energetic, the formation and postures the models took at first was the best showmanship of the night. Up-close to the runway you could tell the amount of creativity, inspiration and effort that was put into the designs.
