MAI ATAFO WEDDINGS HKLFDW: GET IN HERE SINGLE LADIES AND GENTS

Fashion designer Mai Atafo showcased his wedding collection at the just concluded Lagos Fashion and Design Week and we are loving it!

The wedding collection was the only wedding collection at Lagos Fashion and Design Week this year. It was an array of wedding attire from the suits to the wedding gowns.

The gowns came in the traditional white and a few were black. There were also a few knee length gowns. While looking at the lovely pieces float down the runway, the audience was serenaded by a string quartet and soft singing by the gorgeous Kaliné; dressed in one of Mai Atafo‘s creations, singing nostalgic songs like Seal‘s ‘Kiss From a Rose’ that had everyone singing along while cheering for the well tailored suits and dresses.

The designer loves to put on a show and he did just that.Every detail was great, even down to the set/runway design with tall flower vases placed at the beginning of the runway for a wedding themed backdrop.
